I've even made sure that my headphones were not muted. I've not been able to replicate that since. ![]() I can confirm that this is not a hardware problem because I somehow got my headphones working yesterday, but it stopped working when I rebooted my computer. Not even the default Microsoft Audio Drivers worked. ![]() I've tried updating Realtek's drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling, and preventing Windows from reinstalling Realtek by denying all permissions for the system to read/make changes to the Realtek folder. I've checked playback devices, and I don't even see the headphones there. The speakers do shut off like they're supposed to when I have my headphones plugged in. Headphones connected through USB and Bluetooth work flawlessly Just not when I use the headphone jack. ![]() (I've even checked to make sure I was connecting to the right port) The problem now: Realtek is not detecting or playing sound through headphones connected through the 3.5mm jack. I've been having problems with Realtek Drivers ever since I've upgraded to Windows 10 a year ago.
